I'm a MABA member because...
MABA is an excellent way to put faces to the names our builders.  It provides numerous opportunities to establish friendships and a helps to build community within our industry.

Something that most people don't know about me/surprised to learn about me is ...
I would love to have enough kids to field an entire football team.

My favorite area restaurant
Kwik trip, because two hot dogs and a thirty-two oz soda is under $2.50.

My favoriate movie
Life is beautiful, because it is the perfect example of a husband's selfless love for his wife and sacrificial love for his child.

Grade school memory
In fifth grade I flicked a paperclip into an electrical outlet and shorted out half the school.  My teacher wasn\rquote t in the room, but I heard him yelling my name the whole way back to our classroom.  There was no way to deny I did it, as there was a huge black streak on the wall behind my desk.

What I like most about my job is...
Working at Sierra has helped me grow leaps and bounds as a professional.  All of the various duties; customer service, managing the field, accounting, the variety of work, helping clients that have a nasty situation on their hands (i.e. wet basement), and working with our builders all facilitate growth.  Juggling the many duties is a challenge, but I like to think the fastest way to get out of work is to do it.  Everything that comes with managing a living company has been great to learn and I do love a good challenge.  Plus there is nothing quite like a dark, damp, musty basement.

I got started in the industry...
I met Jim Hottmann in an athletic training facility, which happened to be in a basement.  He asked if I liked basements, I said "Yes", he said "You are Hired"!  Obviously that is not verbatim, but he took a chance on me and I can only hope he is happy with his decision.

Hobbies, Volunteer Work, Etc. ...
Growing in my faith, All sports (watching and playing), mowing lawn, spending time with family and friends.
